And since when did they reported on the patient's size!?!? especially with a pelvis scan? I thought it only happened with an abdominal scan...? still being "slim" ain't bad ( Read more... )

big hugs~!

though at the back of my mind couldn't help screaming drama queen hypochondriac... but then being in our profession we get our share of self-over-diagnoses :P

btw my left plantar fascia hurts like hell when i wake up from sleep, and sometimes i get posterior thigh paresthesia/cramps as well. think it could be a disc problem? or just plantar fasciitis? (ok, so i am fishing for a downgrade here... who else to ask than the expert :P )

hmmmm... plantar fasciitis can't be from disc problem... if its tender over ur medial calcaneal tubercle... u know its PF... and no amount of disc prolapse will cause that.

Posterior thigh paraesthesia is unlikely spine also... becoz if its dermatomal... its too far down to be caused be a disc!!.. so unless its a pelvic problem... but more likely its just a transient peripheral nerve compression.

Anterior and lateral thigh paraesthesia are more likely associated with disc or spine problems.
