Oh wow. This is simply gorgeous. Painful and beautifully written, and it's become my headcanon already.

I particularly loved that Tyler struggles for free will despite the fact that it means being allowed to be wrong.

I really don't know what else to say, in the face of this amazing story.

I just discovered this through tumblr and it is probably the best character study I have ever seen of Tyler. Absolutely heartwrenching and real. That ending felt like a punch in the stomach, but in the best sort of way.

Boy, this was amazing! You captured Tyler's character perfectly.

I really feel for Tyler. It's so rare that he gets to ahve a say in his life and when he does, things usually go horribly wrong and it's never because of him. And he still finds the strength to fight back. I can't wait to see how he handles the slaughter of his pack.

I know this is an incredibly late reply, but I really appricate you taking the time to comment and I'm so glad you liked the story. I had never written Tyler before, or even really thought about it, so I was super nervous. So its' really nice to hear that you think I had a good grasp on his character. I was terrified it was going to be OOC.
