IA about Chloe/Jimmy. I feel like Allison really tried but you can't force chemistry and they just didn't have any. They had a cuteness factor going in s6 but the break-ups/make-ups and Jimmy's jealousy got old fast. Plus, thanks to the jealousy, I didn't get much of a Clark-Jimmy friendship and they had so much potential (as shown in 'Identity' and 'Doomsday').
Jimmy will forever be my Jimmy Olsen for SV, no matter what his gravestone may say his first name is Yes, this! When he was allowed to be who he was supposed to be- a photographer and investigating with Lois and Clark, he was perfect. I hate that the show killed him off and stripped him off his identity. :(

They did have some really cute moments in S6, they were what made me want to like them. I mean here was this genuinely nice guy who liked Chloe and wanted to be wiith her. But your right, the break-ups and the make-ups and the jealousy/triangles and trust issues, it just seemed like they were stuck in some sort of a loop. Once they finally got Jimmy to get past her relationship with Clark, there was Davis to take his place and the loop started again.
Plus, thanks to the jealousy, I didn't get much of a Clark-Jimmy friendship and they had so much potential (as shown in 'Identity' and 'Doomsday').I very much agree with this. Yup, I mean, the initial jealousy I kinda understood because I mean, who wouldn't be intimidated by Clark? And I do think that though Chloe did end up truly falling for him later, she initially hooked up with him to avoid her feelings for Clark. Also, the whole s7 thing with Kara kind of made Jimmy look like an ass and that was sad. :(
My knowledge on the comics is limited too but yeah, they could've been awesome. I blame AlMiles (like I do for most things). If they hadn't been so obsessed with triangles, we could've had more awesome friendships in general. It's amazing they managed to get the Chlo-Lo and Chlark friendship right (for the most part). Even the latter only really worked because I heard AM was very adamant about Chloe getting to move on from Clark.
I loved the Lois & Jimmy scenes. They cracked me up. I'm a little sad that Lois never acknowledged Jimmy's death in s9. I feel Chloe tried to tell her in 'Savior' but they just never brought up it again.

I think just like you about Jimmy/Chloe. They were so wrong to each other, I wish they could have stayed friends in s8 and Chloe could have been a litle with Davis LOL.
I'm always happy to know I'm not the only way that thinks that way. I agree, I love them as friends and would have been happy to see that in S8 and as a Chlavis fan, I would have been happy to see that too.
