My reaction is mostly "Oh poor baby" and I rather doubt Ethan would appreciate that. ._. But damn, that would really, really suck, and just... Trying so very hard not to cry and show the emotion but not succeeding. I also rather like that it starts with him waking up and ends with him falling asleep again, because THAT much time couldn't have passed, which makes it seem to me he's so broken up he's not good for much except lying in bed and moping.

(I enjoyed his pain, for what it's worth. ;D I ship this so much; I can't even remember whose fic sold me on it.)
