Fish

Saturday I made baked, breaded haddock. Simple and delicious. It lasted as leftovers until today. I may have made too much.

Tonight I made grilled tuna steaks. Simple and delicious.

Fish, you are now acceptable as part of the regular dinner rotation.

That reminds me, I need to make that seared tuna again. Mostly raw, all delicious.

For the longest time I didn't cook fish but I've been using it more and more. Recently download the Seafood Watch app for my phone so I can check what's sustainable when I'm at the supermarket. Did this after buying $20 worth of NC flounder and then finding out that it's horribly overfished and has very depleted stocks. :( Stupid Whole Foods and their selling of non-sustainable products!!

Yeah, that's why we had haddock instead of cod.

Something must be in the air (or water as the case may be) as we made salmon over the weekend, and then ate dinner at the Bone-Fish Grill for Amy's work-related dinner I had to go to. This is far more fish than I normally eat!

He was my mechanic. He told me I'd blown a seal. I told him to fix the damn car and leave my private life out of it.
