Happy birthday~ XD HP is lovely, hope it's lots of fun for you and you feel better soon.

Eeee, LP. X3 I hadn't noticed that about the building! O_o Also, I'm kinda starting to want to do some meta about the bits of Japanese culture and quirks of language I see in the games. Especially the latter. "Leon compliment", wtf? Is it that difficult to say "It's his way of paying a compliment" or something like that?

Yeah, I'm still sick today, so I'm hoping once I get everything done I can just relax some!

IDK if that's a Japanese culture quirk or not, I got the sense that it "was his way of paying a compliment." XD I bet there are some weird differences in there, though.

Rest is a good thing. Rest and Vitamin C.

Not so much a cultural thing as me being way to harsh on translators.^^;;; Yeah, the meaning comes across fine, but when I can imagine almost exactly how the characters were saying it in Japanese (and haven't gone over that scene in the novels often enough to practically have it memorized like the crazy fan I am), I wince a little. The dubbers do a good job with KH, but I know enough Japanese for my nitpicky side to rear its ugly head.
