Seriously, I don't know what it is about these things, but it just becomes impossible to focus on anything else. Now maybe my brain can get back to the rest of my life. 8D I

Question: If I wanted to try my hand at making an AMV, what program do you recommend? *is a Mac owner and AMV n00b*

The program I used for this one is AfterEffects, but that can seem confusing and monsterish from the get-go since it does so many different things. If you've got a mac, I'd say just start with iMovie, which will come with the mac anyway. It's a great starter program for AMVs...easy to use, and can put out some real high-quality stuff given that it's a comes-with-the-comp program. I made both this and this AMV with iMovie.

The only problem with iMovie is that you need to make sure that you're using compatible clips with the program... .mov is the best to use since movs are high quality anyway; iMovie won't accept things like .wmv or other Windows-only formats.

That~ is a freaking awesome... I can't even call it a remake. It's an amazing revamping of a really good old song and your AMV is fantastic. Lovely timing with the clips and use of video. :D I only wish there were more material you could use with Kairi.
