What question would you ask the guards of the Labyrinth?

I've seen Labyrinth, but I'm a little foggy on the guards. Mostly I remember David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly and the Jim Henson/fantasy environments.

The guards block 2 doors. One leads to the center of the Labyrinth and one leads to death. You are allowed to ask only one question to figure out which door is which. One of the guards always tells the truth and one always lies.
Oh the guards are 2 heads on one card like body. Kinda like a Jack brought to life.
