I was just thinking, I should post something to LJ and let everyone know I'm alive and stuff, but whatever would I write about?, and here you are with your awesome news!
I'm very excited for you. Next year will be here before you know it.
D! So good to hear from you. I'm glad things are going well. I've missed you. Hope the end of your semester is near and you have a bit of a break this summer. How is everything?
The year is already going by ridiculously fast. It seems like a cruel joke - the older you seem to get the faster the time goes.
Everything's copacetic. I have to figure out some kind of job to get over the summer that I can leave when the fall semester starts again. It's kind of freaking me out, which is weird when one considers how many jobs I've had in my adult life.
I'm glad to hear you're continuing with your volunteer work. It seems like you've found a true niche for yourself. I too find myself sometimes feeling out of place when I hang out with others (from school or my internship) who don't have the same interests as I do, but they're such awesome people, I'm enjoying myself anyway.
1. good that you at least know the direction and are working toward that goal. Congrats on figuring out what you want to do when you grow up :)
2. poor kitty. glad he's feeling better. And yeah, animals don't understand that they just gotta lie down for a few days so they can heal up. it's like feel good = playtime :) Since we had my male cat neutered he's been one big ball of play and i'm like where the heck was this cat at six months ago lol
3. better to try than to want to try and never step up to the plate KUDOS, Linds, KUDOS!
Thanks! Yeah I know I really should work some...it's just hard because its a really intense program...we'll see what happens. It really depended on how much my current employers are willing to work with me.

And get well hugs for your kitty. Hope he continues to recover!

The kitty got his stitches out Sunday so I'm sure things will be going smoother for both of us.
