I really didn't expect that (but again, will blame current leaning towards emotional excess due to a definitely turbulent afternoon/evening), but it was just really, really well done. I gave up on the show after S2, then was one of the apparent few who heard

i never liked the OC i am more an OTH fan.

you know, they never aired OTH on mainstream TV as far as I know, whereas when OC began, it was on one of the regular channels and admittedly, had a huge ad campaign going on as well...
