All our school lives, we are told not to give in to bullies, to stand up to them. But children aren't the only bullies.

Officially, quite a few. In practice, I suspect its the same as many other countries - while "whistleblowing" is encouraged, those who do are damned.

There is a recognised teaching union, which I will be joining tomorrow morning, and I am receiving advice from a range of people with experience who I trust.
