Brainstorming (again)

I've been looking for a hat pattern that would match the scarf I made N for Christmas this year, without much luck.

Yesterday, I cast on a headband in thick alpaca.

Today, I realized that if I used the same formula for a headband as is used in the scarf, joined the headband, and then picked up and knit up the crown, I'd have a perfectly matching

Say, did you get your Travelling Lady finished? I still have several repeats of chart A to do, and I am debating making another one. I need my head examined.

Also, when did A need samples for her Large Lace class? I have this bad feeling it was for this weekend, and I'm no more than half-way done the scarf I promised.

I called in sick today. (I know! Weird!) Which means knitting is kinda dangerous - I can knit drunk, but I can't knit sick...
