Re: In search of...lyne_of_flightOctober 20 2005, 02:29:59 UTC
you must have the wrong person as well as the wrong place. women don't look for me. from what i can tell, i am an invisible entity, sometimes to be noticed only to be laughed at or humored.
Hmm...good luck with the job...As for publishing, I may be able to flex my creative talents in your direction. What sort of publishing house are you looking for, Mr. Deviant?
...there was a cool house i saw online. it's called "akashic" but they weren't looking for any more material last time i checked.
more generally, i'm looking for something that's politically conscious, or at least something that doesn't mind political statement. also, it should be a house that is comfortable crossing boundaries like magical realism, cyberpunk, and horror.
i am thinking of changing my writing style for a couple fo stories- focusing on straight fiction for a little. i never thought i could do it, but i think i might have something worth saying in that vein right now.

I'm currently working on one particular story, that has traces of other stories tied in. Think along the lines of Arabian Nights meets The Passion. I've worked through much of it already with hopes that by the end of the year I'll have completed something for once since I graduated. Desite all that you've managed to hold in your boat, your journey has not faulted, at least, that's the way I perceive it. :) You've always got something worth saying...
