So uhh, Kate's going to Iowa and I'm going to be living by myself for the next two months. While congratulations are in order and all that jazz, what the hell am I going to do, living all the way in freaking Rockville by myself for two months?!

I don't really know where I was going with that comment. But you guys should come over and hang out. Because Rockville is lonely and I'm usually too drained to go anywhere else after work/class.

When does she leave? Two months is a long time to be alone if you're living far away (which I'm assuming you are by the way you worded the sentence.). Good luck! You could have people come visit you.

She leaves Thursday! This is too sudden for me. I don't live as far as I made it out to be (I'm like 6 miles outside of DC), but it's far away from all my friends so I'm still going to whine a tiny bit.

I think I'll manage though.

Well, the Iowa election is Jan 3, so she's guaranteed a job until only then, but if she continues working as a Field Director, it could be for longer and it may or may not be in DC.
