holiday weekend! ish

so. I'm at work.  (I'm obviously not that into it, since I'm ranting on LJ instead of making calls! Shhhhhhhh! Don't tell!)  And I make a call to a contact number for one very delinquent customers--haven't paid in 3 months oh we just don't have the money Ohh boo hoo-- and get this! She says "Oh they went camping for the holiday weekend. I'll tell

While I was working as a CSR at Netflix, we had a staggering number of callers like that who let their payments lapse but were adamant that we should let them keep their service anyway. It blew my mind. I don't know where some people get their sense of entitlement.

I feel ya. Being in a medical field i work 90% of all holidays. The only days off gauranteed are xmas and thanksgiving days
