EDIT: APRIL FOOL'S!!!!!I got so many surprised IMs, emails, and messages yesterday. A few of you caught on, but some were completely floating outside of left-field. :-D I've always enjoyed pulled journal jokes on April Fool's Day. It depends on the county you are in, but I assume that it is similar to how I did it.

You need at least two years of a college education, which you have. And then you need to attend a four-hour or so seminar about substitute teaching in which you learn rules, regulations, techniques, etc. Then, when you submit your application to the county, you circle the schools for which you wish to sub, and once you are accepted, your name is added to the substitute listing at each of those schools. They will call you the night before or the morning of to see if you are available.

That's about it!
