I'm so happy for you, Cat. ... I just--wow. I guess I should come up with more, but I guess I'm still surprised. Which is a good thing! Because it's good that you're getting the life you always wanted.

Life is always surprising, isn't it? It was surprising to be so set in my anti-relationship point of view when, poof!, life gave me Steve. It was a surprise when you decided to go to Agnes Scott. :D I'm getting used to it, slowly.

It comes to everyone, you know? These surprising things. You're writing your own life story every day, and eventually, every part of your story has to come to a dramatic conclusion. This is one of mine (although in this book metaphor, this particular chapter of my life was ridiculously long, angsy, and difficult -- I need to have a word with my editor! :D).

I cannot express to you just how much that icon both amuses and mesmerizes me! :D

And thank you! And, hopefully, an eventual congratulations to you as well when you take your next big step. Just remember to stay positive and keep your sights steady on what you want after the big upheaval. Trust yourself. <3

Thanks, girl! And, think positively! We aren't under the reign of an oppressive president any longer. This means that Americans are more open-minded that we thought, and maybe -- just MAYBE -- more progress will be made for equal marriage rights.

At least in the North East and the West. I'm not so sure about the damn South. *sigh*
