Yesterday, I had to work.  For the entire month of February, actually, I'll be working fairly regularly at the Shoreview branch of the Ramsey County Library.  Shoreview just had a huge remodel, which is good in a lot of ways. Wow, you're doing so much work (both at your workplace, and at home, calling all those people)! I'm reading and watching the news and all that sounds... so unnecessary harmful. And exhausting, wasting energy and time people could use for something else, not just preventing the damage done by their own PRESIDENT. And it's so upsetting how much damage could have been done in just 2 weeks. Two weeks! It should've never happened.

Agreed. It should never have happened. Sometimes I wake up in the morning still in denial, thinking, "No, it can't be true." Two minutes on social media and I'm like, "Whelp, I guess it is!"

And, it may seem like I'm doing a lot, but I have the luxury of time. I don't have a regular job to go to, so I can do all these protests and whatnot fairly easily. Plus, one of the things I've learned about myself in all this is that calling actually EASES my anxiety. If I make that call, I tend to let go and relax. If I go find a group of people to shout slogans with, I sleep better at night. But, that's not true for everyone.
