If I'm reading the PKD website correctly, there's two women judges this year, Brenda Clough and Meg Elison.

That said, I don't recognize any of the judges... and to tell the truth, only one of the nominees.

That's for THIS YEAR. Those are the folks that are reading NOW. You have to go back one year to see who judged the ones who are currently being awarded. :-)

Oh, unless that's your point, in which case, yes, next year might fair better. Meg Elison is a previous PKD winner, the author of _The Book of the Unnamed Midwife_. Brenda Clough is a Hugo and Nebula nominated short story writer and (if I can judge by looking, which I'm not sure is necessarily valid) a PoC.

Not knowing Elison at all, I would still feel confident saying that she wold probably have thrown (R)evolution across the room at some point.
