As you know, Bob, the main entrance to the Minnehaha creek hiking paths is closed for construction. I believe the Parks & Rec folks are taking advantage of the drought to do some support work on the crumbling falls. Bad Kitty is one of the best books EVER!!! I found out about it because the author's a friend of a friend, and he sent the mutual friend (a parent) a copy of the book when it came out. I mentioned it on LJ (and thus convinced friends to buy some), but I might never have encountered the book if not for that personal connection. Yak yogurt! Sending notes to the neighbors! What a great book.

These adventures that you & Mason go on sound like a blast.
