So I went quiet for a while. What have I been up to?

- watched the first four episodes of Penny Dreadful and am now giving up. I thought I would really like it but somehow, I realise that I only care about Frankenstein and everyone else is vaguely annoying/boring and I can't remember the names of the other main male characters and no. Clearly not

I'm still watching Penny Dreadful, but then again I enjoy Vanessa and Sir Malcolm and the settings...
Must read Night Watch some day. I have it by!

It was really pretty and dramatic and Vanessa was beautiful and kind of interesting (Eva Green!) but ... sometihng about it just did not gel for me and I feel that four episodes in, I need to accept that it's not quite my thing and move on.

It's a good book, I enjoyed it a lot.

I still haven't seen X-Men. I don't know why I'm such a heel dragger. The live theater sounds like it was pretty great.

It's okay, I think I've seen X-Men enough for everybody! (I'm sort of playing with the idea of going one last time before it leaves cinemas ... this is clearly why I should wait to be fannish about things until they're on DVD ...)

They were a lot of fun, I've enjoyed myself. :)

I still need to see the new X-Men movie. I'm glad to hear it's worth three watches!
