Hee! Two worlds that don't collide at all. I loved Anya using Giles's embarrassment to get herself a good bonus, and you do a great job of the general shop-talk that they do have in common.

Giles and Anya's mutual snark was amongst my favourite parts of the latter seasons, and you've captured it quite admirably here! Thank you for writing the prompt, and again for making it nice and fun.

I like seeing this sort of (semi)friendly banter. Anya's brutal 'honesty' about Giles's age (never mind her own eleven hundred years) was amusing, as well as her final line--it's probably true, too xD And Giles trying to be polite whilst dealing with her is quite cute.

I'm glad you liked it. It's always difficult for me for not to let Anya take over things. My first version had Anya doing all the talking and Giles saying things like "Really?". 8 ]
