my not that very logical assumptions brought me to questioning if time is linear.  apparently, physics has been addressing the same issue.
it's like with the time when i was reading about relativity theory and thought that since it would work in a free fall, why would such an assumption that everything is being pulled towards some hypothetic ( Read more... )

yup:) but then again, if there is no time, what prevents everything from happening at once?:)
i think there is time though, but it is much more complex than humans are able to grasp.

well, you're thinking within the limitations of time even when you say "at once" (i.e. "at the same TIME")! :D
as you say, it's just that there is much more complexity to the concept of time. more layers. more possibilities.
i can say w confidence that there is time, at least within the narrow context of our uses and understanding of it.
but the real fun begins, once you allow yourself to wonder beyond "the rule of time". =)
Kronos would be pissed to bump into HIS glass ceiling :P

and that wondering makes us question perceived reality, meaning not everything we can see, prove or even detect is bound to limitation of existence.
you mentioning Kronos made me think of what Greeks meant by him devouring his children, could be interpreted in the context of existence itself--from the "time" we come, and into "time" we disappear.
