anniversary dinner
tonight we're going to evvia to celebrate our 19 month anniversary. I'm excited because last time I was there it was majorly tasty. Evvia is a mix of Greek/Mediterranean food in a beautiful setting (plus, last time I was there with some friends, we oogled the owner's son, ahem... but of course that won't be happening tonight). i bought an espresso maker
granted it's only a stovetop one, but that's what i wanted (it just seems so much simpler than buying one of those counterspace hogging machines... plus it's cheaper), and i bought some adorable little espresso cups and saucers from Ikea. dim sum and a very cold crepe
my weekend foodies, in backwards order:
yesterday e + i went to dim sum with fu and paulie. unfortunately we only made it to the very end of the serving time, so we had to order from a menu (although, there were still a few trays floating around). oh chocolate
dark chocolate is one of my biggest weaknesses. Apparently I couldn't leave Sigona's w/o checking out the chocolate. And then I saw it. Just a small 3x1 in rectangular box big enough to fit oh so preciously in my hand. Its rich orange and dark brown packaging called to me telling me of its fine contents.
oh I gave in.
