We finally made it out to Heidi's Pies in San Mateo (1941 S. El Camino Real) after visiting the Penninsula humane society. Yummmmm blueberry sour creaaaaam..... My second choice was the key lime. ;D That key lime that was at the BBQ was GOOD.

we went randomly on monday (see post)

unforunately, we did find a kitty we liked. We were just going to play with kitties though. But we can't get one until mid august, so it was sad we couldn't take the kitty home :(

I know it sounds gross, but i think it's just that the name is misleading. the blueberries and sour cream aren't mixed in together as the filling, it's sort of a sour cream topping... I encourage you to try a slice if you ever get the chance :)

pecan is tasty. I would have opted for pecan, but i'd just had some on the 4th of july

I have to agree that blueberry sour cream sounds nasty, but I've never tried it. The other three are pretty much a toss up depending on what food mood I'm in.

So did Heidi's Pies live up to the incredibly high expectation/build up?

you should try it... i'm sure emily will make you try it sometime now. :)

yes, i liked the atmosphere of heidi's pies. we only picked up a pie (didn't sit and eat pie). but we'd love to go back sometime for a late night run. Maybe one of these days we'll visit emily's apt & birdie and make a heidi's pies run together
