Heading out the door of my Evanston apartment this morning, I had the brilliant idea that I would bring my bike with me to Hyde Park (a looong ways away) on the El and bike back. About 18 miles and more than two hours on the bike later, I realize I should have checked some kind of map before making such a rash decision.

Bronzeville to the gorgeous i
ndustrial buildings around McCormick Place to the terriffic Millennium Park (everyone's favorite) to the miles upon miles of
lakeshore parks to the dense Rogers Park, the riches are endless. So happy we moved here...
