Maxis match... hair?

I'm thinking of switching over to maxis match hair. I mostly play maxis match anyway with objects and clothing and stuff. I love love love pooklet's colours, but not all hair creators use the colours I prefer to have. Maxis match seems like it would be easier with them all being the same shades and stuff. Plus this hair defaulting project of allisas is ( Read more... )

In my game, I like my hair shiny. Even when playing with maxis-match skins and eyes, I tend to have at least some shiny hair. That said, there are certain styles that I ADORE in MM, so I tend to have a mixture of both! :D

In other games, I don't mind one way or the other. Tis your game! ;)

I've seen some maxis match-ish hairs that look a little shiny. I'll never switch to dull maxis match eyes or skins, but there seems to be some good quality maxis match hairs out there. I don't like mixing my hairs for whatever reason. I know in real life not all blondes have the same colour of blonde hair, etc. But it bothers me in the game when they don't match shades. I'm weird. I guess its cause if I want to give a sim another style I want it to match exactly the colour they had without having 5 different blonde colours cluttering up my game.

It's all up to you and how you prefer to play, but I'm a fan of the maxis match textures. Remi'd hairs are always so nice, and remi's textures seem to be gaining popularity.

Plus, maxis match hairs only have the 5 basic colors, so hairs take up less space. :)

The idea of having 5 basic colours is a huge draw. I really like my hairs with pooklet's colours, but there are just too many of them! Plus I've seen some really nice maxis match hairs out there recently.
