I am now questioning if anti-depressants are good for me. I totally had the energy to have an outburst speaking my mind. I later went back to apologize for the outburst, but refused to apologize for my feelings. I want to so be a part of Chris's life and included in every aspect of it. I hate feeling like I am excluded, and not privy to the fun

I've found it works pretty well to just say straight-up, "hey, I'm feeling left out and insecure. Could you involve me in what you're doing?"
You're a great guy, so I have to think that a some portion of your difficulty socializing must be circumstantial. But regardless, one of the best ways to make a good impression is just to take an interest in people. Ask questions about them, listen to what they say, and be interested in the answers, and everyone will think you're charming and delightful.
I would offer to loan you my Miss Manners books, but they're all packed away. So I'll just say go read her columns on-line. It's not so much the etiquette, she just has a lot of really good insights into what makes people tick and how to make them think well of you.
