My personal motto of sorts is Datta, Dayadhvam, Damyata. Give, sympathise, control. Which, uh, I adopted as my motto when I first read TS Eliot's Waste Land. I know, I'm such a nerd.
My favorite quote of all time is also from Eliot - what can I say, I love the guy hardcore. :D
