Well...Where to begin? At the beginning I guess...

Wednesday:
Arrived Wednesday afternoon, checked into the Marriott next door, sailed through the pass line then went out to meet up with Timesmasher and ended up back at the Marriott having a scrumptious Hawaiian fusion dinner at Roy's. It was the last bit of real peace we had for the next five days.

It was insane, as usual, but worth it. :-)

You're welcome. I couldn't shoot them and not share. Just wish people had more of a moral compass...silly me.

It was fun, but my body and my wallet will need a long period of recovery. :-)

You've simultaneously made me jealous and somehow reinforced my desire to never go to SDCC. Wow. I had no idea there was so much getting up early to wait involved. I don't think I could handle all of that.

Were you the one at Torchsong who asked about the possibility of an evening cabaret at SDCC?

Yeah, that was me at TorchSong. I asked Jonathan about it afterwards and he said there was no possible way to put it together for this year, but perhaps for 2010. I think I'll keep bugging Mary Lee and Jonathan about it and see what comes.

Although, with John's little announcement I just heard, I have a feeling things might change drastically by next Comic Con.

You don't need to get there quite that early unless you want to get the very front. I was there at around 6 and got a VERY good seat 7 rows back.

Congrats! Since I needed a center aisle seat I knew that would be harder to come by, so I didn't want to leave too much to chance. But definitely, if you don't care too much about getting a particular seat, just near the front somewhere, you can get a bit more sleep. :-)

You're welcome! I'm sure I left lots out, but I didn't want to bore everyone, (including myself) to tears. =D
