the games we play

i've been a list maker for as long as i can remember. rarely are my lists completed in full, unless it's a grocery shopping list. the lists are discarded after a while, or new lists are begun with old itmes included. my desk at work is covered with scraps of paper scribble with various "things to do" lists. and i'm always thinking up ways to challenge myself into doing something...anything. my follow through is very weak.

i have pants huge chunks of last night and today coming up with my list of 101 in 1001. it started with looking through lixie's list, and then searching on the internet for others doing the same thing. reading their lists ispired some of my items, reminded me of certain things i'd like to do, and helped me figure out what kinds of things i do and don't want to list to include.

the list is full of goals i've always wanted to reach, as well as little things i've talked about doing but just never have. the list is full of the big and small things. i think there's a balance. i hope that i can complete it. i'm going to try.
