i had dinner at my grandmother's last night. she's lived in the same flat since i was born, and last night she asked if i could do her a favour and clean out the two bottom shelves of her pantry. while doing so, i found this incredible box of aluminium pie dishes.

wow. how marketing has changed....

not so sure about 'ideal for microwave ovens' - I thought it was generally accepted that metal + microwaves = sparks flying?
