My obsession with quotes (Firefly/Serenity)

Okay, I am a big TV series/movie person. I'll be entertained by anything. I can go for drama, romance, musical, comedies, horror, mystery, thriller, animated, etc. You name it! I have recently discovered I have a thing for independent films (Hedwig and the angry inch, the eye, etc.) which is all good for me. What I love the most about a movie is

Problem is, so much of the awesome-ness that is Firefly/Serenity is contextual, so you don't really get the awesome-ness of the quotes until you've actually seen the show ...

There's probably some truth to that, but the actual quotes would draw in a stranger into watching the actual show, more often than not anyway.

I agree that the quotes would draw people in. If I'd heard any of that, I would have watched it before it had gone off the air!
