This is going to sound like a weird request but... Can anyone point me to fics with good Mickey and Gerard Way characterization? Not paired, of course, but fics where you feel that the author got a good handle on them both

Are you feeling the pull from the dark side? ;-) Do you want stories with them both, so you get the brotherly interactions too, or can it be stories that's got just a good Gerard or a good Mikey?

No idea, but there is this little story where Frank confesses that his first time was with Tom DeLonge. (There exists a pic of them from when Frank was a teenager.)

LOL, not exactly the pull of the dark side but research for two popslash/ bandom crossovers that totally have invaded my mind. I'm mostly interested in them as brothers, and google-fu failed me so I decided to ask the experts. Also, I guess they both know how to drive, but can they ride horses? Oh l and is there a good Chemical Romance timeline like the one for *N Sync?

You better watch out, crossovers are dangerous things! It's how I always get pulled into new fandoms :-)

For all I know yes, they both know how to drive but since they're both from urban New Jersey I would say that the likelihood of them knowing how to ride a horse is pretty minimal.

There isn't a full-fledged timeline like the Nsync chronology but imsinkingfast has the bare bones of one here.

Oh, I know crossovers are *very* dangerous, but I'm trying to be cautious here (Besides, with the sheer quantity of characters one of those crossovers is going to have... it's better to be cautious)

Some stories I think give good Mikey.

Love means never having to say "You're lyrics" -- This is set in Summer of Like, the summer where Mikey and Pete Wentz were bffs on the Warped tour. A lot of stories deal with the emotional issues Mikey has, but he's also an out and out geek, and this shows that nicely.

Talitha This is an amazing story. Alicia is Mikey's wife and in this she's pregnant but also has kidney disease.

Not Dead, Only Sleeping -- The sequel. Long and heart-breaking.

My Way Home is Through You -- This touches on the Paramour situation ( basically the period of time where Mikey's emotional issues came crashing down )

FF.net. Oh man. They stopped hosting RPF in what, 2002? I was still in high school at the time, I remember that, and was very sad that I lost a bunch of stuff I liked.

There weren't many losses on the popslash side as most authors had also their personal sites, but everything else was totally gone :( And then the Envy.nu sites also dissapeared... sigh. It wasn't a good time for popslashers.
