Congrats - is there any way to spin evilly? I envision you sitting with whip in hand spanking the newly plyed yarn saying - bad yarn, very bad bad yarn!
Your studio looks like my whole house right now. My nephew came over and when he went through the kitchen he announces - where do you cook? Then he went to the restroom and said - how do you take a shower with all this STUFF In here.
So be it - the mad rush will be over soon. It will get worse before it gets better.
Hope you get the orders out - then at least the middle will be clean.
Enjoy your new wheel. I love the paper towel reference... aren't they kind of, um, daunting?

holly, i think i did spin evilly last night. i couldn't get the new wheel to ply and was ready to start smashing things and i never get like that. ever.

our house is normally not bad, just the rooms i tend to hang out in, that is our bedroom and the studio. i am incredibly organizationally challenged. it is the biggest thing that bothers me about myself.

the orders are taking up lots of room, for sure.

and yes, the bobbin is a bit overwhelming. i actually think that more than 2 lbs would fit on it, although i wonder if it wouldn't want to spin anymore.

I am finally going to break mine in tonight - but I have to say, it is kind of daunting.... I keep thinking I will do it now, then I look at that big old thing and think, do I really have enough time... I think I just need to break the seal and I will overcome the fear
