i meant to blog yesterday but was exhausted. i woke up feeling wretched and tired and decided that i wouldn't do nothing again, so i took one of my prescription "pep pills" and got into overdrive. i spun 3 skeins of crazy yarn...

aw thanks lady! sadly, in real life, my face is not as cute as it appears on the camera phone photo. maybe i should wear big sunglasses all the time? hmmmm...smooches back atcha!
thanks so much! i am tempted to do some patterns, as you say, they are all similar, i guess by nature. i especially hate that you have to sew everything together. couldn't you crochet it right on there?
I would be happy to test out patterns for you! Ollie would love one like that one you have pictured. It is the eyes I love, so cute.
I agree about the sewing, the whole thing about crochet is that it often removes the need for sewing, but in amigurumi it seems to create extra sewing! I am sure there would be a way to just pick up stitches and carry on crocheting without having to makem things seperate and sew them on. Take care!
awwww thanks! if you want the one i made for ollie, you can have him, seriously. i don't have room for all that i make. if i can't sell things, they just pile up.
i agree that there should be a way to do it without there being 9 different parts like the patterns suggest. i remember when i first learned to knit, in the suss cousins (is that her name?) book, there was this cute fisherman's hat i made for a friend and it was made in a bunch of different pieces cause....knitting flat is easier? or something? no sense. after making it, and learning to knit in the round, it baffled me taht anyone would write a pattern like that.
thanks and thanks. i think. i swear, the camera phone makes me look way better. not sure why, but it does. maybe the lack of detail...didya see that saints and spinners changed the name?
