Title: "Tarnished Idol" Author:luvvycat Characters: Elizabeth Swann, Jack Sparrow Rating: PG13/Soft R Prompt(s): Vulgar and Liar Word count: 100 Disclaimer: PotC is Disney's, not mine. *sniff*
he’d pulled her indecently close, an insolent smirk upon his lips, eyes darkly dancing
... Any redblooded fan of J/E who says that this image doesn't set their toes tingling is lying. And you've conveyed Elizabeth's toe-tingling fury here beautifully ;) LOVE IT!!

It certainly "does it" for me! (And, oh, to be in Elizabeth's place, and on the receiving end of that sexy CJS look!) ;-)

I trust this is the first time Elizabeth's been faced with that kind of bold, in-your-face kind of raw masculine sexuality (and in such a very gorgeous package!). Bound to inspire heat (of all kinds!) in any living, breathing woman! ;-)
LOVE IT!!
Thank you! I'm so tickled that you enjoyed it, and thanks as well for taking the time to let me know how much you liked the drabble! (But, of course, it's J/E! What's not to like?) ;-D
This seems such a perfect rendering of Elizabeth's feelings on that occasion.
I'm so glad you consider it so! That was such a life-changing moment for Elizabeth, and that fateful meeting truly altered the course of her life. I think it also revealed some truths to Elizabeth that she might have preferred not to admit to herself (like how Jack's "attentions" awakened certain improper feelings she'd consider unbecoming for a lady of breeding such as herself. She'd be not only furious at Jack, but at herself for having those feelings!). ;-)
Fabulous use of 100 words!
Thank you so much! You know how much I love J/E, so it's always nice to have the excuse opportunity to revisit some of my favourite scenes with them! I'm happy you enjoy them, also! :-)
Ah, yes, I can easily imagine that this is what she was thinking on the way back home! Lovely, and I especially liked this description: eyes darkly dancing.

There must've been a great many thoughts running through Elizabeth's head after her encounter with Jack (as well as very confusing feelings, not the least being her body's own responses to Jack's "attentions"). ;-)
Lovely, and I especially liked this description: eyes darkly dancing.
Thank you! I couldn't think of a better way to describe Jack's eyes at that moment, the amusement there along with the intense scrutiny he was giving Elizabeth. I think he was fully aware of the effect he was having on her (even if Elizabeth wasn't entirely aware of it herself, or at least hadn't deciphered its meaning, until later). I also love the little look he gives James over Elizabeth's shoulder, taunting him, as though to say, "Don't you wish you were in my shoes, mate?" Scoundrel, he certainly is! ;-D
Many thanks for reading, and for your kind Comments! :-)
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! (Of course, as with anything involving Jack, there's always a healthy dose of "naughty" along with the "nice"! He's so incredibly good when he's being bad!) ;-)
