I'm still convinced even if is not true xD that Elizabeth's child is in fact Jack's xD. I know they were very careful, but the "pull out" method is not very effective, even so was very popular in that time, but in someway it still remains the fragile idea that the child is jack's but they try to fool they selves with the idea that is will's xD. Anyway xD. Love the story, so sexy and dark and someway made me thing in the tiny little idea that in fact these 3 months were the time that PotC 4 happen and Jack is addict to Elizabeth now <3.

Yes, it was then (and still is now!) a notoriously ineffective method of birth control.

Of course, in those days, there were no paternity tests or DNA testing to prove a child's parentage, so all Lizzie and Jack have to go on is logic, and guesswork (i.e., J/E took precautions, W/E didn't on their "one day", ergo, to their minds, the child HAD to be Will's ... though, if you've read my other fics, both Lizzie and Jack HAVE had their moments of doubt). ;-)
