It figures that they'd bond over their shared appreciation for rum! There's no quicker way to Jack's heart, except perhaps by heaping compliments on his lovely Pearl! ;-)

Yes, not nearly enough Gibbs fic out there, IMHO! And thanks buckets for the "capable and cunning" comment! I've been feeling like one whipped puppy lately (heavy workload at work, and bound to get even heavier now due to the Haiti crisis. I'll likely have no time for writing, for a while -- a body's got to get its sleep sometime!), and your kind words always perk up my day, and my spirits! :-)
