Man I simply dont post enough do i? Ive been kinda low of late. The weather is getting to the starting to be crappy phase of the seattleness. Which basically means you spend a lot of time cuddled up under the covers watching movies. I didnt go to any parks this summer which is kinda upsetting, but it just might work out that ill get cabin fever and

Haha.. Welcome to the new public library model! Libraries aren't quiet anymore. In fact, library staff invite in noise all the time. Libraries that are new tend to be built with community rooms to hold these kinds of events. But the older ones... are just noisy. For instance, our teen council is building a haunted house during Halloween... in a quiet study room! Gotta love the irony.

If you like quiet public libraries, don't go on Saturdays or during the after school hours.

I remember thinking how much stuff you had when I visited your folks place with you. We are opposite extremes now, I keep getting rid of stuff, I will be able to move everything I own in the back of my truck again. Miss you. Ry

I kinda want to get to that point, but I dont think its gonna happen. i hold on to too much, though Buddah tells me to let it all go ;-) I figure Ill get over it eventually right?

Still in North Carolina, go into tech on Tuesday in the middle of classes, thesis and planning a class to teach, so you know, the usual. Only eight months left though. Woot!

Does your son like the boxcar children? I have almost a complete set but I dont know what to do with them. Would you guys like the 'use' them for a while?

Well, if some of the old clothes are truly in fashion / not sure whether you'll wear them again... could you sell them on consignment - either collect it when it doesn't sell and you feel like wearing it again... or get cash?
I highly recommend the book "What Should I Do with my Life?" by Po Bronson. Very readable and can be consumed in the odd moment here or there.

What is the book about exactly... i mean what sort of vein. self-help, discussion, theory, philosophy, or novel type? I find that while I can read very fast very few forms of writing will actually hold my interest. I have a book called the Creative habit by twyla thorpe and I cant seem to make myself finish it, though its a very helpful book.
I will give it a try though.
Although currently I am reading the Books of Amber and its all 10 books in one big one... Its taking me a couple of days to get through. :0) Have you ever read them? they are very good. Full on intrique.
