Update

So life is going along. Im working for the union and for the Villiage and for PNTA. Doing whatever work is comming up for me. Driving trucks, running Tommy on the GrandMA. Putting up boths for the National Orthodontics convention. That was awsome because I was driving a sicissor lift which means I got paid about 27 an hour plus OT. I made rent in ( Read more... )

Congrats on all the good things you're making for yourself!
As far as meditation, Tai Chi has been helpful for my meditation type stuff.
Spine long and relaxed; fingers, palms, toes and soles all a bit warm and tingly; there's more but the idea that you're supposed to feel warm and tingly helps me a bunch.

Tai chi has never worked for me sadly. Maybe it was the negative reaction to Mr.ploss but I have never been able to get into it. Strangly enough it makes me bored and frustrated. Im not very good at achieving zen through body memoriezed movements and rythm. I guess the effort to get it into my body doesnt appeal to me. Too many things to think about at once, and yet I like yoga. Or rather I hate yoga so much that I have devloped a relationship with it that I wish to continue. Something that can make you mad must be good for you. Anger being such a high emotional reaction, that the fight back must be your body keeping you from doing something good for yourself. My we can be pervese creatures sometimes.
Anyway sorry bout the rant. Ill let you know how it turned out though.
