I am in the middle of reading "206 Bones" by Kathy Reichs and as usual it is fabulous.

But it has me wondering how accurate is her translations of French to English if its accurate b.c I just learned a new colorful phrase as I read.

"C'est un ostie de crosseur."
= Roughly translated - This Guy's a flaming asshole.

How are Kathy Reichs' books? I really like Bones, so I've been curious.

They are really good, I enjoy them.

As a writer she is very technical in Forensic Anthropology which is great and there are a few changes in characters and location.

But otherwise a good read and you don't really have to read them in order.
