Ok, it's not like I am for the Iraq war (or for any war for that matter) but it doesn't mean that the lives of the students are any less just because the government of this country goes to a war in another country. Your comment is uncalled and not justified. Lives lost are lives lost whether they be in a war or because of some mad man. Don't be a sadist!!
Hey, relax, i'm not being sadist, what I meant is that, everyday lives are being lost in every part of the world, its a pity, people make a big deal when it happens in US or in any european country and turn a blind eye when it happens in 3rd world country. Everyday people are dying in darfur, somalia, kashmir and africa, it doesn't make any news.
I heard yesterday from other source that 60 Somalis were drowned while fleeing persecution and 40 were gunned down in Darfur and both events happened yesterday and it didnt make it to the news. Did you hear that? I'd bet, most of us turn a blind eye to the news like that and forget making a post for it.
Also, its not surprise considering the gun culture in US, what happens when you have excess and unruly traffic on the roads, accidents do happen.
May be we Indians are so much used to hearing news everyday about the bloodshed in Kashimir and North East, we just developed a thick skin for it.
