aww don't apologize...but somehow this made me really really sad. I read it again and was in tears the entire time. Ugh, it's just so sad. which means, good job, really, but still. Just the thought...man, I'm having tears in my eyes again. This is by far the most touching story I've read in this fandom!

On the reread, this is so much more painful. I can honestly say this is the first time I have teared up reading a Sherlock fic.
