I went and watched this because I have a massive crush on Thomas Dekker's eyelashes. That's pretty much my sole reason, yeah.

I tried to read one of the Vampire Diaries books a while back and pretty much decided to quit before I started banging my head repeatedly against the nearest flat surface. The woman's writing is horrible imo. I like what they've done with the VD show, though even I admit that it is cliche to the nth degree. I fangirl Thomas Dekker, period, but I'm again not about to subject myself to the omfg BAD of that show just for him and Gale Harold--who I also kinda fangirl. I just can't do it. I tried and made it through like 5 minutes of an episode, all the time wanting to stab every female character on the screen in the face with something sharp and rusty.
