Brain on the fritz

We're studying ADHD in Abnormal Child Psych and I am really feeling the need for some ADHD medication of my own right about now. I can NOT concentrate on anything. I can't get to sleep at night and then when I finally do, I can't get up in the morning like I need to. Then there's always that tendency I have toward depressive episodes trying to ( Read more... )

Do you drink coffee in the morning? I have always found it helpful. I stopped drinking caffeine for years and found nothing more effective.

BTW, I love that you're posting so much. You crack me up.

Sometimes. If I can make it to the coffee maker before I fall back asleep. I may need to move my alarm clock to the other side of the room and force myself upright is what I'm thinking at this point.

We are here to entertain. Lol.

Ritalin has really bad side effects later on, though. I think I'll just stick to coffee and hope the depressive shit passes.

I've been thinking about the tattoos thing and like you, I just don't get it. I especially don't get the "pick which quote you like best so I can have it permanently put on my body" thing that a lot of people do. That is so... impersonal. You may as well go pick flash off the wall. Okay, it's not quite the same, but the general idea of it feels that way to me and it bothers me because of that. That and the whole, it's your body and YOU should decide these things on your own thing, too. Also, all of the HP tattoos are starting to aggravate the hell out of me ( ... )

I guess I don't care if other people do that, but like with flash tats, I don't give a shit about reading a post about it or seeing it if it's something that means nothing to you. Really, if you're going to do that, it should mean something. Maybe I'm weird, but I don't get body art for the sake of body art.

What don't you mean anything in my post? Wow, I think my eyes just crossed.

Yeah, I'm trying the caffeine thing atm. Will it work? Idk. Better than taking ritalin though because um... no. I don't need the kind of weird aggression shit that comes with that later in life, kthnx.

Will it work? Idk.

Sorry, but lmao... that reads like a REALLY bad summary to a REALLY bad fic. "Sam and Dean have always been close, but when a mysterious Mary Sue claiming to be their younger sister comes into the mix, can she make them even closer? She has a plan, but will it work? A/N: Idk."

Now you know what I was bitching about from before. Hit. With. A. Brick. Seriously.

Caffeine actually is pretty helpful. While I am not cheerful by any means, I find myself less inclined to want to beat (most) people to death and/or stab them. Plus side.

Yeah, I guess it does. Heh.

Yes, I know what you're talking about now. And yes, it's annoying. I mostly just ignore it though because people can do whatever they want in LJ Land.

Caffeine has been helpful today, but it has also made me sickly. I may have just made it too strong is all.
