Hosting a friending meme over at 221b_baker_str. People are actually participating, huzzah. Sherlockians are seriously some of the least involved people. It's sad, they need friends. Go be their friend. *pushes*

And this is slightly ranty I guess, but I would literally kill to get somebody to write something over at the_empty_pale who actually knew that a prompt is not ( Read more... )

D: I saw that and OH MY GOD, the summary alone made me want to pop something. Just. FUCKING STOP IT. That is all. Mostly. 230 words, about what... nine(?) of which are the words of the prompt, so go you. And ya know, since the prompt had the word "he" (the horror!) in it then you know that much was a strain. Ugh. I think the pics + quotes are funtimes, but the sharing of them seems to be an exercise in futility (and frustration).

I know we've tried it before, but maybe over the summer we could challenge each other to a pic + quote prompt for stuff to do. I am always interested in having stuff to do during the miserable seven months of summer.

Your tag, "jack's inflamed sense of rejection" cracks me the fuck up, too. I know where it's coming from/inspired by, but I end up thinking of Jack. While I doubt he has an overactive sense of rejection, I do have the sneaking suspicion that if it is set off then it does, in fact, become inflamed. Neurotically so and at great length. <3 Lol.

How the fuck you summarize something that short is boggling in itself.

Maybe can do. My finals week is coming up and then I'm free at fucking last. I have things I want to write, but not so many I'm sure I could do something else. Summer for me is only about 3 months. Still.

Lol. No, I don't mean my Jack, but yeah it would probably be.

I do indeed. It is in desperate need of some diversity, too.

Well, I only really write for the Labyrinth fandom (and a bit of dabbling in The Lost Boys). And I've been attempting some original fiction lately. I'll keep an eye on it and see if anything sparks. (I can almost guarantee it won't be femme slash, so that's something.) ;)

That is something, and I enjoy both of those fandoms. And it's more people so awesome :D
