Today Mama Smurf decided that she would get her old knitting stuff down from the top of her wardrobe. Mama Smurf was the kind of knitter who was madly knitting an outfit hours after my youngest brother was born, because it was started three children before this and there might not ever be another to give it to! Knitting was her mother's thing
