i'm going away on a christmas trip with the bf and thought i'd pack some bath stuff, especially since i still have a few leftover bath bombs and bubble bars from a huge purchase some time ago

They should be perfectly fine to use. The problem with aging bath bombs/bubble bars is the loss of scent and hardening, so the bubble bars can be a bit hard to crumble, etc. They shouldn't be bad for you in any way.
They're fine. It's likely they won't fizz and the scent will be much weaker but you still get the benefits form the salt. The only thing that can go wrong is if some of the oils go rancid--you'd be able to smell that though.
i guess i'm gonna go against the grain here and say that i'm not sure if they'd still be good after all that time. i mean you certainly can try, but i know that i finally used avobath after like hmmm 10-12 months? and there was no scent at all and the color was really faded. however, i had kept it on my dresser because i just liked smelling it and having the scent out in the open so that was probably why. if you kept yours packaging then it could very well be different.
thanks for the tips, everyone! i ended up taking both products with me on my vacation and they worked just fine :D the scents were a little muted and there were no petals in the sex bomb bath bomb [i only found one], but i didn't have any irritation or bad experiences at all. my skin felt silky smooth afterwards and on the plus side, due to the slight fading, the bath bomb didn't leave any residue in the hotel tub either!
