Babyface vs. Ultrabland

I'm gutted over the fact that Babyface will be discontinued soon... It's the best thing I've found for taking off my eye makeup! Which is really all that I use it for... That being said, I'm glad that each bar lasts a really long time! I still have a bit left of my first bar, but tonight I went to Lush and picked up 2 new ones for backups. My mom ( Read more... )

I've never used Babyface for my eye makeup but I'm a huge fan of Ultrabland.

I wear MAC makeup, specifically their Zoom Black Lash mascara and some pretty intense eyeshadows. Ultrabland works wonders on melting away the eye makeup while leaving my lids soft and my lashes gunk free. Here's how I use it: I gently rub Ultrabland over the lids and then work into my eyelashes for that wonderful 'raccoon' look:) I then take a washcloth and run it under pretty hot water. I wring out the cloth and then use it to remove the Ultrabland. I don't use cotton balls at all.

I find it a bit too heavy for the rest of my face (I have combination skin) but it's wonderful for the eyes.
Cheers!

I've only tried using Babyface a couple times, but I swear nothing will beat Ultrabland when it comes to taking off makeup, especially eye makeup.

I use MAC's eyeliner and mascara, and Ultrabland is amazing - it doesn't irritate my eyes or skin at all, even if I rub it right into my eyes, it's easy to wash off with warm water and all my makeup comes right off. It's really an amazing product.
